Website Wednesday is a regular feature in which we highlight one (or a couple) of sites from the Billions floating around the Intertoobz that just might help you with your Herculean task of educating inquiring minds. Any and all suggestions for future editions are welcome.
About a week or so ago, I had an awesome idea for Website Wednesday; unfortunately I didn’t write it down. Ever since, all I’ve been able to remember is that I had a great idea–not what the idea is. And, so, instead, today’s feature is, while still spectacular, not as good as it could have been. I think. Sorry.
Anyway, this week, PBS debuted its new Arts Web site (check it out HERE); it has video, including full length shows, of some of PBS’s greatest stuff (I started watching Tavis Smiley on New Orleans; then, I spent nearly an hour to Austin City Limits video alone and around then I realized that I was totally hooked, and gave up on the rest of my night). Of course, if you’re into their other great stuff–NOVA, etc.–you can always go to the regular PBS site where you can find a lot of that material, readily available for you in formats that you can use to teach or to brainstorm or to supplement.
Lots of great material, whether you teach any of it or not.
