Congratulations to our new Dean of Instruction, Armen Sarrafian.
I’ve been saving this piece since summer for our new Dean–happily, I think Armen knows all of these things already, and many more. For example:
When I asked members of the search committee what they wanted to see in the new dean, I recall the response of a longtime faculty member, “We want someone who will love this place as much as we do.”
No doubt, he does. Still, if you have some unsolicited advice for him, feel free to post it in the comments.
