I don’t know what you’d use it for, but when I found it, I knew I wanted to share it.

It’s called ITO Road Fatalities and it is a map of every death that occurred in the United States on a road between 2001 and 2009, differentiated by Pedestrian, Cyclist, Motorcyclist, Vehicle Occupant, and Other, and each incident includes the sex and age of the victims, and year of their death.

It’s pretty amazing. A bit morbid, too, I suppose, but I’ve got to think that there’s something great that someone can do with this in terms of critical thinking, mathematics, social science, something…If you have any ideas, post them in the comments.
