Hello football fans. As you know I got that pool thing goin’ with CBS Sports. I thought I’d give y’all an update and encourage you to join if you’ve not done so yet.
Here’s where we stand:
Each player got a point for every game they picked right.
Marta – 0 points (Marta may have been givin’ us all a head start. I’ll take it.)
Mathissexy – 6 points (That’s ok, 15 weeks to go. Let junior give you a hand for week 2.)
PhiloDave – 7 points (What can I say? Logic and sports do not mix. (FYI, I may have to go with GB this coming Sunday. *&%$!))
Chicago Realist – 8 points (I’m stunned, but like I said, 15 weeks to go. Stickin’ with Chicago for week 2. Only ’cause I gots that one point lead. And I’m feelin’ kinda lucky. Can you say UPSET? In New Orleans?!)

When did the season begin for Barcelona and when does it end?
La Liga goes from Fall to Spring (end of Aug to end of May) and the caledar is not set (depends on European competition and national team games). Maybe we could have a pool for the Champions League. There are many Manchester United and Real Madrid fans among our students (too many!).
Good idea. My son is immune to 1990’s team stats and nostalgia.
Sounds good. I’m still stuck in ’85 Bears mode. My subjectivity blinds me.
